This test utilizes a small amount of urine to detects the presence of a urinary tract infection by detecting the presence of leukocytes, nitrates, blood and glucose, as well as measuring urobilinogen, protein, pH, specific gravity, ketones and bilirubin. Test results will be made available via email and our patient portal. Depending on the volume of tests being performed that day, this can take as little as 15 minutes or until the end of the day.
