This COVID-19 Molecular NAAT diagnostic test uses a sample taken from a nasal swab to detect the RNA from SARS-CoV-2 and determine whether or not you are CURRENTLY infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is also known as a molecular test, nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) and a LAMP test. It is not accepted by anyone requiring a RT-PCR test. Test results will be made available via email and our patient portal. Depending on the volume of tests being performed that day, this can take as little as 45 minutes or until the end of the day.
