The test utilizes a tiny sample of blood taken from a finger prick to quickly and accurately measure the concentrations of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides and glucose. Test results will be made available via email and our patient portal. Depending on the volume of tests being performed that day, this can take as little as 15 minutes or until the end of the day.
